I’m so glad you’re here!
I’ve been teaching since 2018! I’ve taught in both private and public schools as well as in urban, suburban, AND rural districts. My career started with student teaching in a 2nd grade classroom and I absolutely LOVED it! I thought 2nd grade would be my forever grade. I ended up teaching 2nd grade for two years. However, life happens! I changed schools and grades. I moved to 1st grade in 2020 and taught online via Zoom for a solid 180 days! Some days were extremely tough, but it got my foot in the door at a big school district in my county. Since then, I’ve been teaching kindergarten and I absolutely know this is where I belong!
Besides being a passionate educator, I’ve always had a passion for fashion! I’d say my style is bold, bright, and glittery of course! I tend to choose clothing with bright colors and floral prints. I have way too many dresses and accessories – but hey, thats why I call myself Glitter in Kindergarten!
